Dr McLoughlin

Dr. Sean McLoughlin is pleased to join Dr, Krajnyk and Precision Eye Institute where he shares his passion for exceptional eye-care. Dr. McLoughlin specializes in the treatment and management of ocular disease, complex contact lens fitting and the co-management of cataract and refractive surgery. Building his own private practice in Connecticut taught him the value in spending time with his patients and cultivating relationships, as well as staying up on ever-changing technological advances and techniques. One of of his favorite parts of private practice was caring for entire families and sometimes watching his younger patients grow up and have families of their own. He will always miss his patients in Connecticut but, he is excited to make new connections in his new home in Florida.

Personal Intrests

Aside from eye-care, Dr. McLoughlin enjoys staying active with his wife and four children. When not at the office, you can find him kayaking, paddleboarding, or just hanging out at the beach. He hasn’t forgotten his Northern roots and still loves skiing, snowboarding and playing ice hockey.  Music is another passion where he loves accumulating guitars and playing guitar with his children. Originally from Broklyn, N.Y., Dr. McLoughlin also enjoys watching his Mets, Jets and Islanders try to win.

Education and Experience

Dr. McLoughlin’s career in eye-care began when he was a teenager as an optician’s apprentice. He quickly grew to love the field and sought knowledge anywhere he could. He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York, College of Optometry. He then completed his residency in Ocular Disease and Geriatric Optometry at the Edith Nourse Rogers Veterans Memorial Hospital (Bedford, Massachusetts VA Medical Center).

Optometrist in New Smyrna Beach

Dr Tulsi Amin

A Daytona Beach native and first-generation college graduate, Dr. Tulsi Amin’s journey into optometry was guided by a deep appreciation for how vision shapes daily life. She witnessed how much confidence and independence are tied to seeing clearly, and how transformative thoughtful eye care can be. Dr. Amin knew she wanted to provide a different kind of care — one where patients feel heard, understood, and never rushed. Her path toward optometry became clear while volunteering with Days for Girls, an organization supporting young women around the world. Through that experience,  it led her to an optometrist. Seeing firsthand the impact that doctor had on her patients and community solidified Dr. Amin’s calling. She wanted to make that same difference.
Dr. Amin earned her undergraduate degrees from the University of Florida before completing her Doctor of Optometry at Nova Southeastern University’s College of Optometry. She provides comprehensive eye care with experience in ocular disease management, advanced contact lens care, and pre- and post-operative management for cataract and refractive surgery patients. Helping patients see better, catching eye disease early, and guiding them through changes in their vision is meaningful work, Dr. Amin said. “I’m honored to serve the community that helped shape me,” said Dr. Amin. “My goal is to provide clear communication, thorough evaluations, and care that patients feel confident in.” Dr. Amin believes vision provides freedom — the freedom to learn, to work, to enjoy hobbies, and to live fully. She takes the time to understand what matters in her patients’ lives so she can help them see clearly for the things they love most. Outside the office, Dr. Amin enjoys traveling to the most scenic places nature as to offer and exploring new cultures. When I’m not traveling, I love and cherish the time I get to spend with my family and friends.
